International Epilepsy Day ~ Monday, 9th February 2026

Every year, more than 5 million people around the world are diagnosed with epilepsy, making it one of the most common neurological conditions on the planet. Behind that number are real lives, real stories, and immense strength.

While there is not yet a cure, hope is far from absent. Emerging research continues to show that nutritional approaches, lifestyle changes, and therapeutic support can meaningfully reduce the frequency and severity of seizures, offering many people greater stability, autonomy, and quality of life.

But on International Epilepsy Day, we shift our focus beyond cures and timelines. We choose to admire the courage of those who live with epilepsy and still rise, still try, and still show up day after day. We recognise the caregivers, friends, families, and professionals who stand beside them with patience and love.

Today is a moment to pause in gratitude for the breath in our lungs, for the resilience of the human spirit, and for the shared human experience that connects us all 💜.
